How do I register for an @KOOL course? |

How long does it take to complete a course at @KOOL? |
How quickly or slowly you work through your course is up to you. @KOOL courses are designed to take about 100 hours of student effort. So if you spend 1 hour per day on your course, it will take about 100 days to complete your course. If you spend 2 hours per day on your course, it will take about 50 days to complete your course, and so on. |
How do I log in to my course? |
Your default username is your student number. For example 1234567. If you do not know this number, contact our office. An email from system-noreply@kamloopsthompson.brightspace.com will be sent to you upon enrolment. This will give you instructions on how to create your password. Check your junk folder for this email.

How can I find my teacher's name? |
Your teacher’s name, as well as contact information, will be on your course home page in Brightspace. You can also view our staff contact list here. |
How do I know which courses I need? |
You can contact our office to set up a time to meet with our academic advisor. |
What if I need support outside of my teacher’s working hours. |
You can message your teacher within your course or you can take advantage of the student resource area. In this area, you will find links to many helpful online sources. |
I am a non-graduated adult. Am I able to enrol with KOOL? |
Yes, we offer access to the completion of the B.C. Adult Graduation Program. |
Is there a time limit on how long I have to complete my courses? |
Generally, you can take as long as you need to complete a course, with two conditions:

Are these easy, streamlined courses? |
No, these are 100 hour courses that are just as hard (or harder) as the courses in a regular high school. They cover the same content as well. |
Where do I work on these courses? |
You can work at home or wherever you can get internet access. |
How will my tests and exams be supervised? |
Generally you will need to write tests and exams in person at the @KOOL office or one of our locations. If this is not possible, you will have to make arrangements with your teacher as to how the test will be supervised. Usually this will require that you find a teacher or professor at your location who can directly supervise your test/exam. Check with your @KOOL teacher once you are in the course. |
